Ron Carpenter, PT, OCS

Ron Carpenter, PT, OCS

While growing up in the Colorado mountains, Ron developed an early love of skiing and later running. He competed in cross-country running at Adams State University, which has a long tradition of winning National Championships. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and later a Master’s Degree in teaching. After working as a special education teacher for a couple of years, Ron felt a calling to help people in a different way. Anatomy and movement were more in line with his interest, and Physical Therapy was a natural avenue. As a competitive runner, Ron was chronically sidelined with Achilles tendinitis. The solution for him was physical therapy and shoe orthotics which helped him remain injury-free for many years. Having never met a PT that disliked their job, he decided to become a Physical Therapist.

The solution was Physical Therapy and shoe orthotics, a combination that helped him remain injury-free for many years. Having never met a PT that disliked their job, he decided to attend the University of Utah in Salt Lake City to complete his extensive education.
