To our Patients,
At Alpine Physical Therapy, we are doing our best to navigate the rapidly changing environment that the coronavirus pandemic is creating. Our priorities lie in the continued health and safety of our patients, staff and the central Oregon community.
Our clinics continue to maintain the highest standard of cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, equipment and tools, using cleaning agents that are designed to address bacterial and viral pathogens, including the novel coronavirus that is causing Covid-19.
Taking into account the CDC recommendations as well as our responsibilities to our employees and patients, our intention at this time is to remain open for essential physical therapy services. These include patients experiencing severe pain, acute injury, work injuries and post surgical rehab. To reduce community interaction/risk exposure in the upcoming weeks, we have encouraged all other clients to continue their home exercise programs and follow up in one month, depending upon what unfolds in the upcoming weeks. Your therapist can be reached at [email protected] or via the AlpinePT app (Android | IOS ) for exercise guidance or questions during this time.
We ask that any patient that has any cold or flu symptoms, including cough, temperature, or shortness of breath, cancel any scheduled physical therapy appointment(s). Our staff has been asked to follow the same guidelines, and should they exhibit any of those symptoms will be advised to also stay home.
For those patients that do attend Physical Therapy, we ask that upon entering the clinic you either use the hand sanitizer provided or wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
Our goal is to maintain the 6 feet social distancing at our clinic while awaiting your scheduled appointment, so we have adjusted our seating in our lobby, and are also offering text or call waiting in your vehicle as an option. Text or call us at 541-382-5500 upon your arrival to let us know you are waiting in your car, and a staff member will notify you when they are ready to begin treatment.
We are also exploring Telehealth (Virtual/video visits) options at this time, and if your therapist believes you are a good candidate for this service you may be contacted and offered that option during this quarantine period.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this uncertain time, we hope to be running at full capacity again as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. Until then we will continue to assess the fluid nature of this crisis and adjust our response and availability as appropriate. In the meantime, if you want any more information about Coronavirus and Covid-19, the CDC is a great resource. Their website is www.cdc.gov.
Yours in health,
The staff at Alpine Physical Therapy
